Part 1 Lecture - Multimedia presentation on the short-lived and controversial camouflage netting factory created in Manzanar in 1942. Featuring archival photos by distinguished photographer Dorothea Lange. Also learn about Southern California's remarkable wartime camouflage history. Presented by Dan Kwong.
Part 2 Workshop (Reservation required) - Join a fun, hands-on workshop for registered participants and weave on a free-style interpretation of a camouflage net! Co-facilitated by artists Hana van der Steur and Dan Kwong, descendants of fiber artist and Manzanar camo net weaver Momo Nagano.
